Spazz-Tacular Day

.
Good morning! I suddenly realized this morning that April is almost gone. In a few short days I will once again be responsible for coming up with my own ideas.
.

Welcome to…
SPAZZ-TACULAR DAY!

Which brings me to the next order of business. If anyone would like to submit a list of morning prompts or ideas, that’d be AWESOME! I only need a few, like maybe 184, which should carry me nicely through ‘til November’s National Health Blog Post Month Writer’s Challenge. Thanks in advance. *grin*
.

Now, y’all have known me for a while…unless of course we’ve just met, in which case you haven’t. (But that’s really not the point here, so I’ll just keep typing.) As I was saying, you have got to know by now that I am one of the single most UNfocussed people you could ever hope to meet.
.
I truly don’t have a health focus other than whichever spot is giving me the most pain or problems for the day. My favorite Social Network is whichever one will load on my computer in the morning. I don’t even have a writing schedule. (Unless you count Friday’s Top Ten List, which is more of a loose guideline than a schedule per say.)
.
I do have my favorite blogs I read religiously. (Even if I suck toad-water a commenting!) And they’re all listed on the Blog-A-Rama thing up top. (Or they all will be as soon as I update it, which I plan on doing before this is posted, so I guess I really didn’t need to mention that part. Unless, of course, you’ve been there before, in which case there’s now new stuff, so feel free to take another look-see. Just a thought…)
.
I’d tell you I’m a free spirit, but I’m afraid the laughter would cause some kind of harmonic disturbance producing millions of happy little sound waves that would bounce off of shiny objects and ricochet into the ozone causing a satellite to fall out of orbit and with my luck it’d be the one that bounces my pathetic internet signal from some place in space all the way to my geriatric laptop so I’d wake up and be completely internet-less and call the company in a seriously yell-y state about their lousy service only to be told it was all my fault which would lead to excessive scream-crying and NO INTERNET and then I’d REALLY be a mess! So I won’t say it.

OK, maybe I have had
a little too much coffee…

.
I will say I may describe what I do as a “health and humor” blog, but I’m thinking the bios I’ve left strewn across the interwebs are more telling than anything else…wife, Mother, world-class music junkie, writer, artist, and the bit about living with a chronic illness comes last, if I mention it at all. It’s an after-thought, not a defining element. It may be part of what makes me Me, but I don’t see myself as a sick chick.
.
I’m also thinking most of you guys are more or less just as eclectic as I am. All of the above spazz-tacular, scenic-route-to-a-though ramblings add up to one thing; they make today’s prompt kinda impossible to fulfill.
.
Besides, I’d rather listen to other’s opinions on what’s awesome out there so I can find new reading addictions. (Which I’m thinking’ may be what comments are for.) I would LOVE IT if you guys would share some of your favorites for the rest of us to check out! (After all, sharing really IS caring. *giggle snort*)
.
PS I will share one post I read this morning with you guys, A Wish For My Daughter from Debra at High Heels and Hot Flashes.
It’s not long. It’s not funny. It is filled with raw love and a beauty to her words. It is gut and heart wrenching. And it’s also something important to remember…HIV/AIDS is not yesterday’s news. Even though there have been amazing leaps made in treating this deadly virus and much has been done to improve the quality of life for those living with it, it’s still a monster that can steal away those we love the most.
